Tennis players are business people too. Serena Williams, Venus Williams, Maria Sharapova, and Roger Federer have proven that their on-court personas are only part of what motivates them in life. Novak Djokovic also appears to be the same way.

Since he is in the Los Angeles area preparing for the BNP Paribas Open, also known as Indian Wells, an event he has not played for five years, Djokovic seized the opportunity to attend the Upfront Summit which is an invitation-only event of 1,000 investors, entrepreneurs, and leaders of technology, innovation, and creativity.

This event has a Hollywood feel with previous speakers such as Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Garner, and Jamie Lee Curtis to name a few. Djokovic found himself in photo opportunities with VIPs you would not normally expect to see him with.

Who Djokovic was photographed with

Raise your hand if you ever thought you would see the day that Novak Djokovic would be photographed with musician Katy Perry. It was a world-colliding moment of two giants in their respective industries people would not expect to see together.

Bringing it closer to normal was a tennis-related photo. Djokovic was pictured with Alexis Ohanian, Reddit co-founder and husband to Djokovic's female GOAT counterpart, Serena Williams. Serena was recently spotted at Paris Fashion Week so she is not at the Los Angeles event.

Djokovic is enjoying his time in California. In addition to the Upfront Summit, he practiced tennis in front of large crowds of spectators (including students at UCLA who likely skipped class to watch the GOAT in action) and perfected his quarterback skills. He looks relaxed, healthy, and happy which is a scary proposition for his competitors at Indian Wells, one of which is expected to be Rafael Nadal.
