Serena Williams – Having won a 6th Wimbledon title, a 21st Grand Slam and a 2nd ‘Serena Slam,’ there is no doubt in my mind that Williams is the Best Female. As with Federer, she has proven that age is but a number as at 33 years old she became the oldest female Grand Slam champion in the Open Era with her victory over Garbine Muguruza.
During that match, she proved that no matter how nervous she might be or how well her opponent plays, she ultimately has the physical, tactical and mental edge over all of her contemporaries and who knows how many Grand Slams she’ll bag over the next few years.
