Fabio Fognini as Jaqen H’ghar

Fabio Fognini is certainly a man of many faces on the tennis tour and which face he is wearing is almost as difficult to predict as whether Jaqen H’ghar is wearing a different face. The effervescent Italian has a number of personalities on court that we have seen over the years.

A fine Italian gentleman off court, he thankfully doesn’t speak in as many riddles as Jaqen. However, the room of faces revealed at the end of last season may well be part of Fognini’s locker room, as he varies between calm, angry and indifferent during matches.

Whilst being in his presence is unlikely to make you go blind (sorry Arya), sometimes you may wish to lose your hearing for a bit as Fognini is not afraid of pulling out the bad language. He says it how it is; if only Jaqen H’ghar were to to the same. Fongini’s coach must suffer from a similar attitude. ‘A  coach cannot tell a man when exactly a man must do a thing.’
