Caroline Wozniacki is searching for her first career Grand Slam singles title. 2017 could be the year that she accomplishes the task.

Caroline Wozniacki has reached a Grand Slam final twice in her career. Both finals appearances came at the US Open.

The next Grand Slam event in 2017 is the French Open. Wozniacki’s best finish there came in 2010 when she advanced to the quarterfinals. It was also the same year that the Danish tennis player became a world No. 1.

So far in 2017, Wozniacki has made three finals appearances at WTA tournaments. She is once again surging in the rankings and on the verge of a singles title.

That title could come at a Grand Slam.

If Wozniacki can remain healthy and maintain her current level of play, she will be primed for Roland Garros. With just two months to go before the French Open, she has the right amount of time to prepare.

Currently, the top two players in women’s tennis are Angelique Kerber and Serena Williams. The American Williams already took home the title at this year’s Australian Open. Kerber has seen both ups and downs in 2017. While those two will remain favorites in the upcoming major tournaments, several other top 10 and 20 players have burst onto the scene. Wozniacki is one of those of players.

Look for Caroline Wozniacki to continue her high level of play in 2017. She will be a strong contender in each of the remaining Grand Slams.
