Haase takes the meeting against Zverev 3-6, 6-2, 6-2. The loss will not impact the German’s qualifying in London since he is already in, but it does prevent Zverev from gaining some much needed momentum before one of the biggest tournaments of his career.

Alexander Zverev will compete against the likes of Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer at the ATP Finals in London.

The young German made headlines in Paris while getting a visit from his dog during a practice session. A fan favorite on the ATP World Tour, it is disappointing to the early exit in Paris.

As for Haase, the current world No. 43 has the chance to end the year on a high note. Coming into the Paris Masters, he is 26-29 in his ATP singles matches on the year. With two career singles titles, Haase has strong experience on the tour and can easily play spoiler in any tournament he competes in. He awaits the shakeout of the remaining round of 32 matches before knowing his next matchup in Paris.
