Nick Kyrgios OUT of 2018 Indian Wells Masters due to elbow injury

Nick Kyrgios has withdrawn from the 2018 BNP Paribas Open at Indian Wells. The Australian tennis star is suffering from an elbow injury.
Another elbow injury strikes a top player in men’s singles tennis. Nick Kyrgios is out of the Indian Wells Masters due to injury. He was set to play Daniil Medvedev on Saturday at the tournament. Now, fans and players alike must wait and see how serious the issue is with the young Australian tennis player.
Kyrgios is the current world No. 20 on the ATP World Tour. He started the year with a title win in Brisbane but has not played for a month now. He will need to rest and rehab the injury quickly if he hopes to hang onto his position in the singles rankings.
Returning from an elbow injury at Indian Wells is Novak Djokovic. The Serbian superstar has been away for a similar injury to the one Kyrgios is dealing with. The return for Djokovic is a major test of his elbow, which he has been attempting to address for the better part of a year now. It was apparent at the 2018 Australian Open that Nole was again suffering from the elbow injury.

He was expected to play at Indian Wells before withdrawing from upcoming tournaments in the weeks leading up to the action.
