American tennis star John Isner is continuing on at the 2018 Wimbledon Championships. He defeats Stefanos Tsitsipas of Greece in order to reach the quarterfinals at the Grand Slam event in London. Isner is into the quarters for just the first time at Wimbledon. Can he keep up the momentum and make a title-run at the major tournament?
Isner is yet to notch a Grand Slam singles title throughout his career. That being said, he does have plenty of major tournament experience on his resume. He is also surging on the 2018 ATP World Tour and could be poised to breakout this week.

Up next for Isner is tennis star Milos Raonic. The matchup is one that fans and players alike will be eagerly watching. While Raonic might typically be considered the favorite between the two, he has seen intermittent play throughout the past year due to injury. Raonic enters Wimbledon as the tournament’s number 13 seed. Isner came in as the number nine seed in the men’s singles draw. Raonic is also seeking his first career Grand Slam singles title. He did reach the finals at Wimbledon in 2016, but he fell to British tennis star Andy Murray.
