Wimbledon Champions Dinner: the 2018 Wimbledon Championships comes to an end and the winners get to enjoy their accomplishments.

Wimbledon Champions Dinner – Novak Djokovic and Angelique Kerber are the highlights of this years’ celebration. Along with them, several other players in both doubles and singles action have made history. Djokovic defeats South African tennis veteran Kevin Anderson in the finals. He wins the championship match, going 6-2, 6-2, 7-6 (3).

Kerber takes down American tennis legend Serena Williams in straight sets to win her first career title at the Wimbledon Championships.

Both Djokovic and Kerber are enjoying themselves at the Wimbledon Champions Dinner. As the Grand Slam event concludes in London, there is a lot to take in. Djokovic has reemerged as a top player in men’s singles tennis. He and Kerber’s trajectory throughout the past year have been similar.

Djokovic missed time due to injury and has been fighting to regain consistency on the ATP World Tour. Kerber reached career heights on the 2016 WTA Tour before faltering throughout the past year. She has now become one of the top contenders in women’s singles yet again.

The 2018 Wimbledon Championships culminates with two veteran greats taking titles in the singles action. Both Novak Djokovic and Angelique Kerber add Grand Slam titles to their resumes, cementing each of their legacies as two of the greatest in the sport. Djokovic is now a four-time champion at Wimbledon. Kerber wins her first singles title at the major tournament.
