Most notably, he reached his first career major final at the US Open. 2018 however, has been even better for the big serving South African.

Anderson reached two Masters Series semifinals in Madrid and Canada, breaking a previous 0-10 record in Masters quarterfinals. He also reached his second career major final at Wimbledon. Following this impressive stretch of results, Anderson reached a career high ranking of number five. Armed with one of the biggest serves on tour, Anderson is always a feared opponent. ATP Race to London – Rank 7. Marin Cilic

For the fourth time in his stellar career, Cilic will compete at the ATP Finals. In his over a decade on tour, Cilic has achieved great feats. Most notably, winning the 2014 US Open. In 2018, Cilic posted more milestones. He made his third career major final at the Australian Open. He has now reached the final in three out of the four majors. In January, Cilic also reached a career high ranking of world number three.

At 6’6″ and with a complete power game, Cilic is a tough opponent for even the greatest tennis players. He has a great serve, powerful groundstrokes, and moves well for a man of his height however, what separates Cilic from others is his fearlessness. He never backs down to his opponents no matter their ranking or stature.

Despite his attributes, Cilic has never made it past the round robin stage at the ATP Finals. Following an impressive 2018 season, he will look for a good performance in London.
