Novak Djokovic Remains 2018 ATP Finals Favorite

Novak Djokovic is in action during the ATP Finals semifinals this weekend. He faces Kevin Anderson for a shot at the finals.
Who better to pick for the 2018 ATP Finals than Novak Djokovic? The world number one is on fire as of late. He is coming off of a spectacular second half of the ATP World Tour this year. Taking titles at the Wimbledon Championships and then again at the US Open, he has roared into action in London. And of course, Nole has fared particularly well at the O2 Arena in the past.
The biggest stat in Djokovic’s favor right now is that Anderson is yet to defeat him since their first meeting back in 2008. The Serbian superstar is 7-1 throughout his career against the towering South African tennis veteran. Nole has scoreboard.
Looking at the remaining ATP Finals field, Djokovic is the player to beat. On the other side of the action, Swiss legend Roger Federer and rising star Alexander Zverev face off. Their semifinals match will be one pitting veteran greatness against the next generation of men’s singles players. Zverev has already proven himself on the ATP World Tour, but advancing to the finals would do wonders for him right now. Unfortunately for Zverev, he has to get through arguable the greatest tennis player to ever live in Federer.
Novak Djokovic is the player to beat in men’s singles at the 2018 ATP Finals in London. He faces off against Kevin Anderson in their semifinals meeting on Saturday. If Djokovic can reach the finals, he will continue to display his dominance over the action at the O2 Arena.
This year has been a revival for Novak Djokovic and an ATP Finals title would just be the icing on the cake. While he is the heavy favorite right now, Nole must take everything one match at a time.
