Both Berdych and Bautista Agut have the experience necessary to take the title in Doha. Berdych is also a former doubles champion at the event, winning back in 2014 alongside his partner Jan Hájek. He and Bautista Agut face off on Saturday in the finals.

The shocking upset over world number one Djokovic comes at a time when the Serbian is red hot. He is coming off of a year filled with two Grand Slam wins and a runner-up finish at the ATP Finals in London. While Djokovic remains the clearcut favorite on the ATP Tour moving forward, a finals appearance in Doha could have done wonders for his momentum.

Berdych defeats Italian tennis player Marco Cecchinato in the semifinals in order to arrange his finals meeting with Bautista Agut. The Czech tennis star defeats Cecchinato 7-6 (8-6) 6-3. The finals could go either way but we may have to give the slight edge to Bautista Agut as he comes off of his victory over Djokovic.
