The 2019 Delray Beach Open enters the semifinals. Here is a look at the final four players remaining and who has the best shot to win.

American tennis star John Isner is the only seeded player remaining at the 2019 Delray Beach Open. He, along with three others, enters the semifinals this weekend. A title shot is just one match away. Isner takes on British tennis player Dan Evans next.

Isner must be considered the favorite in his upcoming semifinals match with Evans. Overall too, the towering American is the player to beat moving forward.

Evans will need to complete a major upset if he hopes to reach the finals. In the quarterfinals, Evans ousted Andreas Seppi in a strong 6-4, 6-4 showing. Isner, who came up against the eighth seeded Adrian Mannarino, also took his quarterfinals match in straight sets after surviving a first set tiebreak with the French tennis veteran.

Isner has the edge right now at the Delray Beach Open. Evans, who is the current world number 148 looks to knock out the world number nine.

In the other semifinals match, we find a young American tennis player taking on an accomplished veteran. Mackenzie McDonald is coming off of a HUGE win over the top seeded Juan Martin del Potro. He takes on Moldovan tennis star Radu Albot in their semifinals meeting. This one is a big tossup. McDonald made headlines with his win over the top seed but Albot has also defeated strong players so far at the Delray Beach Open.

Looking at Albot’s last two matches, he has wins over young Australian star Nick Kyrgios and the fourth seeded Steve Johnson. For the purpose of supporting a more cinderella-like run, we’ll take McDonald in this one but this is a match that can go either way.
