Rafael Nadal wins his semifinals meeting against Stefanos Tsitsipas this weekend. He is one match away from yet another title.

The eight-time and defending champion at the Italian Open is Rafael Nadal. So, it comes as no surprise that the King of Clay is into the finals yet again. He will attempt to take home his ninth title at the Italian Open.

Nadal defeats up and coming ATP tennis star Stefanos Tsitsipas during their semifinals meeting. The Spanish superstar wins with ease, going 6-3 6-4.

Rafa now awaits the winner of Novak Djokovic and Diego Schwartzman. This is a must-watch matchup at the Italian Open. Both players are coming off of huge wins in Rome. Djokovic ought to be considered the favorite, but anything can happen here. We made some predictions on the semifinals here.

If Djokovic advances, he could easily emerge as the slight odds on favorite against Nadal. While Rafa does have a more storied history in Rome, Nole is a former champion himself and has been playing lights out tennis for roughly a year now.

The world number one must get past Schwartzman first who is playing some impressive tennis in Rome. These two square off next at the Italian Open. For now, Nadal can look ahead and focus on defending his title no matter who the opponent will be. The King of Clay is in his element this time of year. Djokovic or Schwartzman, it won’t matter. Rafa will bring his best tennis to the table.
