Swiss tennis legend Roger Federer hit the practice courts at Roland Garros alongside another star in men’s singles. Both are gearing up for the French Open.

Roger Federer got together with Belgian tennis star David Goffin for a practice round at the 2019 French Open. The Swiss tennis legend is not typically one to play during the clay court season in recent years. This has changed as Federer is altering his schedule, most likely due to his wanting to play major tournaments like the French Open as much as possible before he retires.

Take a look at this Instagram post from Goffin. The 28-year-old Belgian put up a photo with the “Maestro” and seemed in high spirits following the outing.

He may be having a good time practicing with Federer, but the Belgian tennis star is one of the better players on the ATP Tour right now without a Grand Slam title to his name. Previously, Goffin has reached the quarterfinals at Roland Garros. Back in 2016, he fell to Austrian tennis star Dominic Thiem in the quarters.
