The great bit about March for tennis fans is that we get two Masters 1000 events, back-to-back. Indian Wells comes first, and then the Miami Open. The one in South Florida has an interesting venue as it is played inside Hard Rock Cafe, home of the Miami Dolphins.

Does a high-end tennis event need its own year-round location? Probably, but Miami, helped by the excellent direction of former top-5 player, James Blake, somehow pulls it off.

In 2026, fans can expect the top players to once again try to get those 1,000 points by winning the Miami Open. That means Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz on the men's side, and Aryna Sabalenka and Elena Rybakina on the women's. That should be some fantastic matches.
