Novak Djokovic and Jakub Mensik are both out to reach monumental achievements in the men's final at the 2025 Miami Open. For Djokovic, a victory would be his 100th tour-level title. For Mensik, the win would be his first Masters 1000 victory.

Djokovic and Mensik have had a relationship off the court as well. The Serb is obviously one of the greatest players ever, if not the best. He will soon be 38 years old, while Mensik is just 19. But when Mensik was 16, Djokovic contacted him to invite the Czech to train with him. Now, Djokovic has to try to defeat his part-time protege.

Mensik is a winner during his run in the tournament, whether he defeats Djokovic or not. He is currently ranked number 30 in the live ATP rankings, a career high. If he manages to beat the Serb, he will move up to number 25.

What is the weather forecast for the Miami Open final between Novak Djokovic and Jakub Mensik?

But will the temperamental Miami weather come into play during the final? Good conditions seem more likely than in many previous days of the Masters 1000 event.

According to the Weather Channel, there is a chance of rain in Miami Gardens, Florida, but not until the evening. Through the afternoon, and, most importantly, the period of time when Djokovic and Mensik should be playing, there is, at most, a 21 percent chance of rain. The wind will gust up to 12 mph, but that is less than most of the week leading up to the men's final.

In other words, weather should not be an issue for the match. Of course, this being south Florida, a thunderstorm could suddenly pop up out of nowhere and delay the start of the match or cause a temporary pause.

Update: The rain did decide to come and caused a pause in the women's doubles final match. This meant a delay in the Djokovic and Mensik match as well.
