What channel is the 2024 US Open on?

The US Open begins on Monday, August 26, and takes place in the fantastic little town of New York City. OK, fine. It's not exactly small. There are a lot of people there and some of them visiting this week are tennis players.

The final Grand Slam of the tennis season is the US Open, of course. It'll be hot and sweaty, and that's just for the fans. The tennis players will be sweating as well, but that's because they are working harder than us schlubs sitting in the stands drinking our...water? (You know you aren't drinking water and it is fine.)

Let's say you cannot make it to NYC. The plane tickets and the cost to get into the tournament are too much. That is likely true for most people. Thankfully, most people can also watch - or stream - the tennis major on TV or via their internet provider. But how?

How to watch and stream the 2024 US Open

Well, we have that answer here at the good ol' Lob and Smash. We are also going to assume you live in one of the countries that read us most, though that seems wrong. We cannot help it. Gotta get those clicks! So hello, United States and Canada! Good to see you in the UK! And we don't want to leave out Malaysia!

In the US, you can catch the opening action to the closing Carlos Alcaraz victory on ESPN and all of its channels. The main hub will be the mothership for most of the two-week tournament, but ESPN2 and ESPN3 will carry the action. If you live in South or Central America, check out ESPN International for all the matches.

The ESPN app will also carry all the matches via streaming. It's worth the price of a subscription.

In Canada, you can watch the match play on RDS - for you French-speaking Canadians - and TSN for everyone in general. To be fair, everyone should speak French. It's a wonderful language, though the nation hasn't produced an extremely high-level tennis player in a while.

For those who live in the United Kingdom - shout out to the people in the upper balcony! - you can watch and stream on Sky Sports. This includes the great country of Ireland.

Finally, for our pals in Malaysia (and most other Southeast Asian countries), you can watch the US Open action on Eclat. Admittedly, we do not know much about that broadcaster. They cover tennis, however, so they must be pretty cool.
