Novak Djokovic finds a great place to vacation with new deal with Aman

Novak Djokovic makes a lot of money. That is not breaking news. He plays the highest level of tennis ever so he makes money winning tournaments. The Serb also makes quite a bit of money from endorsement deals. Djokovic has a new one as of this week.

The best part for Djokovic, however, might be - and I am assuming this to be true - that he gets to stay for free. The deal is with Aman Resorts, the same company that signed Maria Sharapova in 2023 to help sell their brand. Not only does Aman know how to do the hospitality business right, but they also have great tastes in tennis players.

Djokovic's title with Aman is Global Wellness Advisor. The terms of his contract were not immediately released, but one can safely assume that the 24-time Grand Slam winner will get paid a handsome sum. He is a smart enough businessperson to know which companies are worthy of his salesmanship.

Now, what exactly does a Global Wellness Advisor do and who will the player be advising? Who knows. The title is likely one needed for business purposes. The contract does seem to run for a number of years and Djokovic's growth in his role is expected to grow annually somehow. Maybe he will be CEO one day? (That last part is a joke, of course, but nothing can be ruled out with the Serb.)

Sharapova's role with Aman is as a Global Wellness Ambassador. Possibly Djokovic is advising Sharapova on how to be an ambassador. She seems to do that well enough on her own, though, so advising Sharapova probably won't be what Djokovic is doing.

In a statement from Aman Resorts announcing Djokovic's deal, the company wrote, "In a union of mastery, Aman welcomes tennis legend, Novak Djokovic, as its first Global Wellness Advisor. Entering a multi-year partnership, he brings a wealth of expertise, both on and off the court, to the Aman guest experience, enhancing an ever-evolving approach to health, fitness, and wellbeing."

Of course, no one knows how to keep themselves in better shape than Novak Djokovic. His commitment to his nutrition and workout routine is legendary. He might simply advise most of us on how to get up and get in shape. Most of us could use the prodding at times.
