The Wimbledon 2025 final is a great example of even when most people assume the matchup will be obvious, the payoff is likely to be even better. While tennis fans shouldn't expect an epic like the French Open final between the two, the Wimbledon edition might be special too.
The clay of Paris allowed Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner to build points on the slower surface. Grass courts play a lot faster. But there is one gift that the London weather might have given fans this year. Due to the heat and lack of rain on centre court, the court is playing slightly slower.
This could mean that we get something closer to the French Open final than we normally would. A five-set all-time great match would be magical, but is it too much to ask? Possibly not because of the two players facing off in the final.

The guess is that Carlos Alcaraz will win in four sets. He is the two-time defending champion and has beaten Jannik Sinner five straight times. Still, anything can happen on the Wimbledon grass. Tennis fans should brace themselves to expect the unexpected and another excellent match between the two best ATP players for the next decade.
