If he keeps up his current level of tennis, Berdych has a fairly straightforward path to the quarterfinals.
6. Tomas Berdych
2015 Record: 19-5
Career at Miami: 24-9
Best Finish at Miami: F (’10)
Berdych is playing great tennis this year. He is tied for the tour lead with 19 wins. At Indian Wells, Berdych ran into a vintage Federer who was playing out of his mind. The Swiss champion is not entered in Miami and Berdych’s draw has landed more comfortably for him.

If he keeps up his current level of tennis, Berdych has a fairly straightforward path to the quarterfinals. There he would likely have a rematch with Nadal. The two players met in the same round at the Australian Open, where Berdych beat the Spaniard for the first time in 18 matches. Nobody beat Tomas Berdych 18 times in a row.
That win has propelled the big Czech to good results this season, but duplicating the result when Nadal is itching for more ranking points after an early exit last week will be daunting. If he does come up with the win, he could face Andy Murray in the semifinal, who took him out in that same round in Melbourne. Still, Berdych has a real chance at this title.
