A Murray-Nadal semifinal would be a dream match as both players are desperate to put up a big championship at this point in the season.
3. Andy Murray
2015 Record: 16-4
Career at Miami Open: 22-7
Best Finish at Miami Open: W (’13, ’09)
Murray seems to be stuck. He has played some of his best tennis this season, but keeps running into Djokovic. Djokovic is just a better version of Murray. Everything Murray does well, and he does many things at a spectacular level, Djokovic just does a tiny bit better. At this point, Murray probably hopes that someone else takes down the world No.1. It is hard to picture Murray accomplishing it himself.

Murray’s draw is probably the easiest of the top players. Wawrinka is in his quarter and is a player that doesn’t scare Murray too much. A Murray-Nadal semifinal would be a dream match as both players are desperate to put up a big title at this point in the season.
Murray absolutely is a major threat to win this title for the third time. He is at home in Miami, used to success and able to stay at his Florida residence during the tournament. Don’t bet against the Brit’s chances.
