Wimbledon had no shortage of upsets this year, with top players falling to some inspired opponents. One of the reasons why we love sport is that the outcome is unknown, as Roger Federer alluded to in his runners up speech after the final.

The drama draws you in and leaves you breathless when you watch something special. 2015 was another year for Rafael Nadal to be on the receiving end of an early round upset and it is hard not to feel sympathy for the Spaniard, who is working so hard to get back to his best.
A host of big names endured struggles of their own in the women’s game, with early exit for heavyweights Simona Halep and Eugenie Bouchard showing that there are no guarantees in tennis. The fact that top seeds Novak Djokovic and Serena Williams also came within a whisker of exiting the tournament shows that nothing is impossible.
