Novak Djokovic follows just Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer in the men’s singles rankings. He is this year’s Wimbledon and US Open champion.

While Rafael Nadal remains on top of the singles rankings, Novak Djokovic is surging right now. He is fresh off of what might be his greatest Wimbledon win to date. Returning from lingering injuries earlier this year, it has been quite a battle back for Nole. He wins both Wimbledon and the US Open on the 2018 ATP World Tour. Defeating Del Potro in the finals at Flushing Meadows, Nole completes back to back grand slam singles titles on the year. He moves into the world number three ranking with his major tournament win. It is Del Potro who rounds out the top four though, giving four veterans a stronghold atop the singles rankings.

Several other veteran greats such as Marin Cilic and Kevin Anderson have all seen strong years on tour. Their generation continues to impress, forcing younger stars such as Alexander Zverev and Dominic Thiem, among others, to fight harder for their place in the spotlight.

While there are several young ATP stars to keep an eye on moving forward, it is Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer, and Novak Djokovic who top the men’s singles rankings. Stay tuned to see how the finals months of the 2018 ATP World Tour shake out. While the ATP Finals right around the corner, Rafa, Federer, and Nole remain the players to beat heading into the action.
