Top 10 Young Tennis Players – #6 is Greek tennis player Stefanos Tsitsipas. He is bursting onto the scene in men’s singles tennis.

Stefanos Tsitsipas is your 2018 Next Gen ATP Finals champion in men’s singles. He has reached career heights on the ATP World Tour this year and appears to be continuing his upward trend. Defeating another rising star in Alex de Minaur during the finals, Tsitsipas comes away with the title in Milan. This year marked just the second edition of the Next Gen ATP Finals.

The 2018 ATP World Tour saw Stefanos Tsitsipas reaching three ATP singles finals, falling to Spanish superstar Rafael Nadal in two of them. He would take a title in Sweden before closing out his year with a Next Gen ATP Finals win.

A career high ranking of world number 15 comes at the end of what will be the first of many stellar season for Tsitsipas. The young Greek tennis player is just one of the many top 10 best young tennis players to watch in men’s singles. Look for him to carry his newfound momentum right into the new year. He should be considered a contender for at least one ATP singles title, if not more, on the 2019 ATP World Tour.
