After being spotted together in recent days, Paula Badosa and Stefanos Tsitsipas have confirmed that they reconciled.

Fans were surprised when Badosa took to social media a couple of weeks ago explaining that the pair, affectionately known as Tsitsidosa, had gone their separate ways.

Badosa and Tsitsipas dated for a year before their breakup, and fans (like me) are thrilled they are back together.

Badosa and Tsitsipas's breakup did not seem final

Tsitsidosa is great for each other; supporting one another in tennis and in their personal lives. Both realized how much they missed the other during the brief split. Tsitsipas talked about how much he valued Badosa in his life, a point that became crystal clear after they parted. He also said that she is "his person."

When they broke up, Badosa reportedly said their breakup was more a matter of circumstance than feeling. Both are busy touring and working to be the best at professional tennis so time together would be difficult to come by except at Masters 1000 and Grand Slam tournaments.

During the majority of 2023 after the pair started dating, Badosa was dealing with the debilitating back injury that kept her off the WTA Tour. She was seen touring, working out, and practicing with Tsitsipas and his team while she was recuperating. That means the pair had more quality time because they were not traveling separate tours; Badosa was traveling with him.

Professional tennis is a rigorous sport so it is great to see the tennis couple of Paula Badosa and Stefanos Tsitsipas reunite. Both will be playing at Roland Garros beginning this week. Ironically, Badosa will play one half of another tennis couple, Katie Boulter (who has dated Alex de Minaur for years) in her first round match.

Boulter and de Minaur have figured out how to make their relationship work in the long time amid the chaotic life of professional tennis so hopefully this recent reconciliation of Badosa and Tsitsipas means they have figured it out also.
