Or, this might simply come down to which player is in better form. Both clearly stay at a level that no other player can match currently. Tennis fans can pencil in a Jannik Sinner versus Carlos Alcaraz final for years to come in whatever tournament the two enter.
The guess here is that Alcaraz will win the match in four sets. Sinner might still be the more consistent player overall, but the Spaniard's form in the fortnight has been stellar. He hasn't dropped a set. Jannik Sinner will fall to No. 2 on the tour. For now.
