Juan Martin del Potro as Jaime Lannister
The Kingslayer of the tennis world was most certainly Juan Martin del Potro is 2009 as he beat Roger Federer in the US Open final. He looked to be the irresistible force that would take hold of the sport, as Jaime Lannister had also forged a strong reputation for similar high-profile scalps (including the King is that wasn’t obvious.)

However, things don’t always go to plan. Jaime lost his hand, a severe setback to his fighting skills and his ability to beat the best. A wrist injury was also the roadblock to further success for del Potro, who simply hasn’t been the same since.
Whilst he is working tirelessly to return to the very top, suggestions are that he will transition to a one-handed backhand in order to return to action. Jaime was frustrated in training with his left hand in sword fights initially, but is steadily getting back to his best. In a similar way, there is light at the end of the tunnel for the talented Argentinian as well.
