Serbian tennis star Novak Djokovic is set to go down in history as one of the greatest ever. Just how much more can Nole win?

Everyone is in awe of Novak Djokovic right now. The Serbian tennis star has won three consecutive Grand Slam singles titles and reached the top ranking on the ATP Tour yet again. He won in 2018 at Wimbledon, the US Open, and then kicked off the new year with a dominant performance at the Australian Open.

Djokovic is in the middle of an incredible streak of tennis. Just how long can he keep it up? Even if he lets up sometime soon, Nole is sure to add more and more to his already legendary legacy. He enters a packed field at the 2019 Indian Wells Masters this month.

Currently, Indian Wells, and any tournament really, is Djokovic’s to lose. If he’s in the action, he is the favorite to win. There’s no reason to think otherwise. Of course, someone such as Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, or Alexander Zverev can pose a threat. When making a pick though, Djokovic is the odds on favorite so long as he is healthy.

At the Australian Open this year, Djokovic ousted Nadal with ease in the final. Winning in straight sets, the Serbian reaffirmed his place atop men’s singles. He continues to face the best the ATP Tour has to offer, and he continues to live up to the billing with fantastic wins.

If Novak Djokovic is playing a tournament… he is the favorite.

What do we have to look forward to on the 2019 ATP Tour? The answer is simple; more Djokovic success and more players attempting to dethrone him.

Some of those players will be the veteran legends and his peers in Federer, Nadal, Juan Martin del Potro, or Kevin Anderson and John Isner. Others, however, will be the next generation of tennis stars.

Some of the next generation big names include Zverev, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Australian Nick Kyrgios, British number one Kyle Edmund, and Karen Khachanov. For a full list of who’s who in the up and coming ATP stars, take a look at OUR TOP 10 PLAYERS TO WATCH.

Djokovic has proven that when tested, he comes out on top. Just how long can he continue this dominant streak of tennis though? You have to think that he’ll see a stumble at some point. Will that be at the Indian Wells Masters? We don’t think so. He should at least put on a strong showing if he doesn’t also reach the finals or take home yet another title.

The only loss so far in 2019 for Novak Djokovic came during the semifinals in Doha. There, Roberto Bautista Agut got the best of him in a tough three set match. What does that mean? The world number one is beatable, but it doesn’t happen too often. How long can Nole fend off his challengers? If he’s healthy and competing, it could be a while.
